Kurt Angle's Side of the Story As Told By Bubba The Love Sponge:

Angle had been trying to get Rhaka Khan out of his house for a while now. Just a few weeks ago she went and had her mailing addressed changed to his house so that it was now her primary residence. He went to talk with the police and ask them what he can do to get her out of his house. They said that the only thing he could do was file a restraining order. He didn't want to do this. A week later Khan approaches him and tells him either he gives her $500,000 or an engagement ring. Angle tells her that she's crazy and that she needs to leave his house because they are over. Then, unbeknown to Kurt, she calls the cops and tells them that he is being violent with her, he is on steroids and she fears for her life. Cops come and escort Kurt out of his own house because, like said before, Khan is listed as a primary resident. Angle packs a bag and leaves. He says that he then stopped at a Starbucks and saw that he had been followed. She starts messing with him and calls the cops saying she was at Starbucks and he had followed her there and was stalking him in the parking lot. Cops pull Angle over and find the HGH which he says he has a prescription for.

Bubba The Love Sponge also mentioned that Linda Hogan pulled that stalking crap on Hulk and she was following him. If what Kurt says is true then they should have some security camera footage of him showing up at starbucks before her and her messing with him. Sad thing is, even if what Kurt says is true and he is cleared of the charges, his reputation is still damaged. And many of you I'm sure are happy to make Angle out to be the villain.

TNA Champion Kurt Angle spoke with WTAE Channel 4's Michelle Wright today after returning home from the latest set of Impact tapings from Orlando, Florida. Angle told the reporter he cannot get back into his home because the alleged victim is still there.

Breaking into tears, Angle told the news station spending nine hours in custody after his arrest Saturday morning was the lowest point of his life.

"I didn't do anything wrong, and I was sitting there in the (Allegheny) county jail," Angle said.

Angle said no physical violence between the couple took place. "There was no fight at all. We didn't even have an argument," Angle said.

The current TNA CHhampion revealed he and Trenesha Biggers (known as Rhaka Khan in TNA) have been dating on and off for 10 months. He said he allowed her to stay at his house but she starting getting mail sent there and now he can't go home because of the PFA.

Angle claims Biggers might be acting out of spite because he didn't want to marry her. "She asked me for an engagement ring the week before." Angle said.

He also claims to have the support of his ex-wife Karen Angle. "My ex-wife has supported me. She has told everyone about the kind of person I really am," Angle said.

TNA champion Kurt Angle was interviewed this morning B-94's "Buckhead and Bubba in the Morning" radio show for the first time since his arrest last Saturday on a number of charges stemming from his violation of an order of protection brought against him by ex-girlfriend Trenesha Biggers, claiming there was proof he wasn't stalking her.

"The whole thing was just crazy," Angle said. "I told the girl it wasn't going to work out. She asked me for my car to go to the store, went to police, got a PFA. The police came to my door, kicked me out, put her in, and it's been like that ever since, and I spent nine hours in the county jail."

Angle also claimed that security tapes from his residence proves he left the residence that day before Briggars. ""We got surveillance tape that shows she followed me out, and then she had me restrict the PFA by following me, so basically in a nutshell, that's pretty much what happened."

Angle's attorney has stated there is no corroborating evidence of any abuse and that all the charges would be dismissed in due time in court. The first hearing is set for September.

Angle did not comment on being charged with possession of human growth hormone. The WTAE piece noted that TNA spokesperson Steven Godfrey declined to comment on the arrest or how the HGH might play into TNA's existing drug policy.

To read the complete article, look below.

For whatever it's worth, the version Angle told is the exact same version he told wrestlers at the TNA Hard Justice PPV on Sunday. A number of sources have also confirmed that Angle had been trying for some time to have Briggars leave his residence dating back several months, although the two had been seen in public together since that time.

The Angle arrest received a large amount of attention from the mainstream media.

Tearful Kurt Angle Blames PFA Arrest On Ex-Girlfriend
Wrestling Champ Free On Bail In Pittsburgh But Can't Go Home

PITTSBURGH -- In an exclusive interview Wednesday, Olympic gold medalist and professional wrestling champion Kurt Angle said his live-in girlfriend got him arrested on an alleged violation of a protection-from-abuse order after the two had broken up.

Just a few hours after returning to Pittsburgh from Orlando, Fla., where he had been performing for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling the past three days, Angle told WTAE Channel 4's Michelle Wright that he can't get back into his Moon Township home because the woman is still there.

Breaking into tears during the interview, Angle said spending nine hours in custody after his arrest Saturday morning was the lowest point of his life.

"I didn't do anything wrong, and I was sitting there in the (Allegheny) county jail, just thinking about why I even started dating this girl. I can't believe she did this to me. I don't even know when I'm allowed back in my own home," Angle said.

Angle, 40, said there were no physical or violent incidents that could have prompted the woman -- Trenesha Biggers -- to file the PFA against him that morning.

"There was no fight at all. We didn't even have an argument," Angle said.

Angle, who is divorced, said he and the woman had been dating on and off for 10 months. He said he allowed her to stay in his house, but she started getting mail sent there, and now he has nowhere to go because of the PFA.

Biggers may be acting "out of spite" because "I didn't want to marry her," Angle said. "She asked me for an engagement ring the week before."

Angle said that the woman asked to take his car and go to the store early Saturday. Soon after that, he says Moon police were at his door, telling him to leave.

"She has taken over my house, everything that I own. Everything is in there," Angle said.

The wrestler said he only had a few moments to grab some things -- including his gold medal, for sentimental value -- as he left the house.

"Since I was 5 years old, that's all I ever worked for," Angle said. "Once I won that, I tried everything I could to do better than that -- pro wrestling, movies -- but nothing will ever match that, so I guess that's why it's so special to me."

n the criminal complaint, Biggers -- a pro wrestler who performs under the name "Rhaka Khan" -- told police that she went to a Starbucks Coffee in Robinson Town Centre so she could use the Internet, and then she saw Angle circle the parking lot three times and stare at her while she was outside, so she called 911 and said Angle was stalking her.

But Angle told WTAE Channel 4 that he had no idea the woman was in the coffee shop, and he says surveillance tape from his gated community shows it was her who was following him.

Robinson Township police eventually pulled Angle over and found a capped syringe in his car and two vials of human growth hormone. Angle said he has a prescription for the drugs and takes them for a recurring neck injury, not for larger muscles.

"It was supposed to help with my overall health and getting the strength in my neck to function," Angle said. "It didn't make me bigger. As a matter of fact, I only weigh 205, 210. I'm not a very big guy, not in pro wrestling. I don't use it for that."

Angle was charged with harassment, possessing the drugs and driving on a suspended license.

Attorney Michael Santicola -- who got Angle off on a well-publicized 2007 DUI charge in Moon Township -- posted a note on Angle's Web site saying that the driver's license suspension is under appeal and is related to Angle's refusal to take a blood test in the DUI case. Angle was found not guilty of DUI at trial.

Angle told Wright that his character has been ruined and he's planning to file a defamation lawsuit and he wants Pittsburghers to believe in him. He said one thing that makes him feel better is that he's planning to see his children and his mother on Thursday.

"My ex-wife has supported me. She has told everyone about the kind of person I really am," Angle said.

Angle is free on bail as he awaits a Sept. 15 preliminary hearing on the drug and harassment charges before Robinson Township District Judge Carla Swearingen and a separate hearing on Oct. 6 in Moon Township for the alleged PFA violation.

"I just hope the hearing goes OK and I can get back into my house and move on with my life. That's all I want. I don't want any trouble. I just want my life back," Angle said.

His annual "Ultimate Teen Challenge" -- a fitness competition for local youths -- will take place as scheduled Saturday morning at the downtown Pittsburgh Hilton hotel.

Meanwhile, Angle is still working for TNA as the company's heavyweight champion. After his arrest, the company allowed him to appear as scheduled on a pay-per-view event and scripted his match to end with him keeping the title belt, which makes him the focal point of storylines on TNA's weekly television shows.
