- There has been internal talks within WWE of a Chris Jericho vs. Edge match at Wrestlemania 26. The company hope Edge will be cleared to wrestle by this time, but it is difficult to tell due to the injury sustained. Edge and Jericho were the unified tag-team Champions before Edge sustained his injury.
- Following a hiatus after Wrestlemania, Shawn Michaels has returned to be included in one of the top billed matches at Summerslam, however he is not expected to be on the road much with the company given he is not booked on any live event cards in September.
