August 25th: The wrestling world is still reeling after the announcement that "American Dragon" Bryan Danielson has agreed in principle to a contract with World Wrestling Entertainment. Everyone at Ring of Honor is extremely proud of Bryan and wishes him nothing but the best as he embarks on the next leg of his wonderful journey. To that end, ROH officials are proud to announce that the September ROH events have been labeled the "Final Countdown Tour"! The tour kicks off on September 10th and 11th in Philadelphia as ROH and HDNet tape 6 more weeks of television, then it's on to Dayton on 9/18, Chicago on 9/19, then to Boston on 9/25, and the tour culminates in New York City on 9/26 with "Glory By Honor VIII: The Final Countdown"! These events will be your last chance to say farewell to a bona fide ROH legend. Tickets for all 6 events are available now at www.rohwrestling.com!

August 25th: In case you missed the main page announcement yesterday, the Boston leg of the Final Countdown Tour is getting a dream singles match that has never happened in Ring of Honor. Signed for September 25th is Bryan Danielson versus Davey Richards – and this match was requested by Danielson! Don't20forget that Bret Hart will be on hand in Beantown as well!

August 25th: ROH officials have reviewed Petey Williams' claims, and they have decided to act. After what happened in Detroit in June, Austin Aries will face Petey Williams one-on-one in Chicago on September 19th! ROH officials, however, could not mandate that Aries put the ROH World Title on the line, as he's already scheduled to defend on September 26th against Bryan Danielson in New York. "Aries' knows full well that I can beat him," said Petey. "And he'll hide behind rules and his cronies to avoid giving me a shot. Some champion." Aries has yet to respond.

August 25th: Tag Team action is signed for Boston on September 25th as Nick and Matt Jackson – The Young Bucks will take on Cheech and Cloudy. The ROH Tag Team Division is hotter than ever, and this one will no doubt be fast and furious. Can Cheech and Cloudy score the win and raise their stock? Or will the Bucks continue their m eteoric rise in Boston? Be there to find out!

August 25th: Just signed to compete when ROH and HDNet return to Philadelphia on September 10th and 11th: The Young Bucks, Kevin Steen and El Generico (9/10 only), Eddie Kingston, Kenny King, Rhett Titus, Sonjay Dutt, "Skullkrusher" Rasche Brown, and the Super Smash Brothers (9/10 only). We'll have the first matches signed for this set of tapings later on this week!

August 25th: Just signed for Glory By Honor VIII on September 26th is a singles match between two of the most athletically gifted men in Ring of Honor. It will be Claudio Castagnoli taking on Kenny Omega! Castagnoli is coming off a grueling feud with Brent Albright while Omega has taken Austin Aries to the limit recently. Can Claudio regain that winning form, or will Omega solidify his spot in the ROH pecking order?

August 25th: Everyone heard the words of Davey Richards in the last Videowire. He told the Briscoes if they wanted a title shot in Chicago to go to ROH officials and "make it happen". Well, the Briscoes came to ROH officials to do just that. But the Wolves got there first. Davey Richards contacted ROH officials and ‘retracted' his statement on the Videowire. He said that "emotion overtook him" and that "the Briscoes havent EARNED a title match". ROH officials informed the Briscoes of Davey's new stance on that match, and reiterated that the Wolves are not mandated to put the belts up because they are already scheduled to put them on the line in September against Steen and Generico in New York. Needless to say, but the Briscoe Brothers are not happy, and we'll have comments from Mark and Jay in the upcoming ROH Videowire.
