Epic confirmed recent rumors today that a "Game of the Year" edition is coming for Gears of War 2. The special edition will be hitting stores on September 1, and includes all of the downloadable content offered for the game so far. The "All Fronts Collection" adds 19 maps, and the "Road to Ruin" gives an extra campaign scene.
The game will cost $39.99; if you haven't picked up Gears 2 yet, next week seems like an opportune time to buy. Early adopters may get the bragging rights, but apparently those who wait get to hold on to more of their wallets.
