So does this mean he will be striped of his title???

But dang this is a pretty big shock. Rey doesn't seem like the drug using type.

Rey is an idiot, he's not fully there anymore. He's losing his passion for the Biz, so if he wants out; why doesn't he just hand in his notice? *shrugs*

Lol they put him over Ziggler twice and now he's gonna get stripped of the title.

lol no, ofcourse he doesn't. He was just one of the major drug takers with Benoit. This will hurt SmackDown with Hardy gone as well.

The latest update on Rey Mysterio and the Intercontinental Title is that he will likely drop the belt at next Tuesday's SmackDown tapings in Cleveland, Ohio.

Rey's suspension doesn't start until September 2nd, next Wednesday. This gives them time to take the title off of him next Tuesday night. Dolph Ziggler is expected to end up with the belt because that was the plan to eventually happen.

It's believed that the WWE Wellness test that Rey Mysterio failed took place three to four weeks ago, around the time of his vacation.

I wish Rey would go to TNA, he would be a much better wrestler there, as far as the company is concerned. I mean, honestly, the only reason he won the World title a few years back is because Eddie died. How fucked up is that.

I never saw Rey as a World Title holder, he is just to small. I also can not believe that Rey could beat Kane every time he goes up against him, including on Smackdown this week but atleast it was a count out and not a pin ... dear me. In saying that, I am happy that they are keeping him at Intercontinental level at the moment but I read somewhere they had plans to have him go for another number 1 contendr match with CM Punk next month (I am guessing for the World Title). IMO he is just to small.

^ I somewhat agree with that. I agree that he maybe too small but I am also kinda sick of the typical WWE 6'4 250lbs beasty guy who can't wrestle, I would rather see a smaller size guy who can actually wrestle be champion rather than somebody who is just champion because he's 6'3 250 lbs. McMahon seems to like those type of guys as its become pretty clear over the years that he tends to like huge guys who can't wrestle.

No one who saw Misterio in WCW, compared to his roided up wwe version, is surprised by this.

I don't think he is to small for the IC or US titles, just the World and WWE titles.

This is what I've always said too. He quite a bit larger and less agile than he was back in his WCW days.
