Some of the crew from the blockbuster have written an open letter slamming the pin-up which was then posted on the film's website.
In it they called the 23-year-old actress "dumb as a rock" the "queen of talking trailer trash and posing like a porn star" not to mention "grumpy", "thankless, classless and graceless."
It comes after Megan, who played mechanic Michaela Barnes in the feature, compared the film's director, Michael Bay, with Hitler.
Bay has now taken steps to draw a line under the row. He's taken the letter down from the site and has replaced it with his own stating: "I don't condone the crew letter to Megan. And I don't condone Megan's outlandish quotes. But her crazy quips are part of her crazy charm. The fact of the matter is I still love working with her, and I know we still get along. I even expect more crazy quotes from her on Transformers 3."
