The Great Khali is set to undergo knee surgery shortly.
Devin Cutting who is currently at the WWE Smackdown taping in Hamilton, Ontario, sent details of an angle designed to write Khali out of the storylines....WWE shot an angle at tonight's TV taping in Hamilton where Kane hit Khali over the head with the ring bell, then destroyed Khali's left leg with the metal steps. Khali was taken out of the arena on a stretcher.
There was word going around the wrestlers about two weeks ago that Khali's knee was going to need surgery, but I couldn't get a secondary source on the story. The angle dictates that is indeed the case.
