James Michael Tyler, aka Gunther, was in the capital to check out the venue and even agreed to do a mini sketch with one of the reporters.
Most famous for playing a waiter in the hit US programme, James jokingly served coffee.
It is 15 years since Friends first appeared on television and to celebrate, as well as a fake Central Perk on Carnaby Street, there is also a special DVD being released.
