HIP HOP icon Tupac Shakur has spoken from the grave in a series of lost video recordings about love, feuds and a rumour he was raped in prison.

VIBE has revived the fallen icon with the first in a series of previously unreleased interview footage from May 1996 - shortly he was shot dead.

The clips first surfaced on YouTube in what is believed to be a lost 1996 interview of Tupac Shakur discussing the shooting incident that happened before the one that inevitably took his life.

In it, Tupac discusses his love for the East Coast, how he planned to change the world in the future, and how he did more for the east coast than the east coast did for themselves.

Earlier this year, the question of whether Tupac faked his own death has sparked dozens of alleged sightings of the star, and look-a-like fans.

Meanwhile, a collection of Shakur's lyrics and poems have been donated to a library in the US by the rapper's mother.

Afeni Shakur gave the collection of writings to the Robert W. Woodruff Library at Atlanta University Center.

More than 150 of her son's items make up the collection, which also includes a photocopy of his contract with Suge Knight and Death Row Records.
