Yahoo! Sports is reporting that Forrest Griffin will fill in for the injured Mark Coleman to face Tito Ortiz at UFC 106. The two had met before at UFC 59 in April of 2006, a bout that Ortiz won via split decision.

Coleman was forced to withdraw from the fight after suffering a torn MCL. Coleman's manager, Mike DiSabato, offered to have the fight moved to January.

The bout will be Griffin's first since suffering a first-round knockout loss at UFC 101 in August to UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva. Ortiz is coming off of a major loss as well, as he last fought in May of 2008, where he suffered a unanimous decision loss to current UFC light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida, in a bout that many thought would be Ortiz's swan song in the UFC.

UFC 106: Lesnar vs. Carwin takes place live from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nev on Saturday, Nov. 21. The event is headlined by a UFC heavyweight title defense by Brock Lesnar against Shane Carwin.
