It seems like this card has been talked about forever, but WEC 43 will finally be taking place today inside the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas. Don’t forget to catch the main bouts airing on Versus Network.

WEC 43 was initially to be held on September 2nd at the Covelli Centre in Youngstown, Ohio, however the organization abruptly rescheduled the card for today instead.

The night’s main event features an interim lightweight title bout between Donald Cerrone and Ben Henderson.

Cerrone holds a 10-1 professional record, however what’s more impressive is that although he’s a Muay Thai specialist, nine of his W’s have come via submissions. His only blemish came in a controversial technical decision loss to champion Jaime Varner at WEC 38 this past January.

Speaking of impressive records, Henderson holds a 9-1 mark, with his last two coming inside the WEC cages against Anthony Njokuani and most recently, Shane Roller. The former two-time NAIA collegiate wrestling All-American hasn’t lost an MMA fight since 2006.

Here is the finalized roster that will be competing in the night’s broadcast on Versus:

Preliminary Bouts:

Deividas Taurosevicius vs. Javier Vazquez
Charlie Valencia vs. Coty Wheeler
Manny Tapia vs. Eddie Wineland
Wagnney Fabiano vs. Erik Koch
Scott Jorgensen vs. Noah Thomas
Muhsin Corbbrey vs. Anthony Njokuani

Main Bouts:

Rafael Assuncao vs. Yves Jabouin
Will Campuzano vs. Damacio Page
Dave Jansen vs. Richard Crunkilton Jr.
Donald Cerrone vs. Ben Henderson (Interim WEC Lightweight Title)
