Is this the new world's smallest man celebrating his birthday?
Khagendra Thapa Magar celebrated his 18th birthday over the weekend with a cake almost as tall as he is, in advance of his actual birthday date of October 14.
Khagendra, from Nepal, has previously been ineligible for the Guinness Book of World Records title of the world's smallest man - on the grounds that he wasn't yet an adult.
But, as he turns 18, he will now become eligible, and could well take his place as the new shortest man - taking the crown from He Pingping of China.
At just two feet tall, Khagendra is considerably shorter than the 2ft 5in He Pingping.
As is traditional with new title-holders for tallest or shortest records, Khagendra has expressed his most earnest desire as being to find a wife.
'Now I have turned 18 I want two things: to be recognised by Guinness and to find a wife who is small like me,' he said.
He added: 'It is my dream to have four children.'
