Show:
RAW opened up with DX on the screen and Triple H said this public service announcement is brought to you by your friends at D-Generation X. We then go into a video package looking at their shenanigans over the past few weeks.

In the arena:
The music of D-Generation X hit in the arena as Shawn Michaels and Triple H made their way to the ring to a monster pop from the live crowd tonight in San Antonio. Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler welcomed us to the show. Michaels grabbed a mic as his hometown fans chanted “DX”. Triple H said to hold on a second and asked Shawn if they were supposed to wear the new shirts? Michaels said yes, and they are available at souvenir stands all over the building. Triple H said he is wearing the original shirt and it’s on sale at stands all over the building as well! Michaels said that you can get all your DX merchandise at stands all over the building or at WWEShop.com! Triple H said “easy Miz”, because Michaels stuttered. Triple H said McMahon is in a bad mood tonight. Michaels said McMahon is on edge, and rumor has it that they have something to do with it. Triple H wondered what they had done to make McMahon mad, and asked the crowd if they had done wrong by Vince McMahon. Triple H asked if they should stop doing the things they are doing to Vince. Michaels said McMahon is really angry at us, and him and his son Shane want us right here and right now. Triple H called Shawn, Shane, and said it was live TV and to give him a break. He said no one wants to see Vince and Shane fight DX right here in Shawn’s hometown. The crowd popped. Triple H said to hold on a second and maybe he’s wrong. Maybe the people would be interested in seeing it. Triple H said maybe they should make a match with the two of them against DX tonight in this very ring. Michaels said it’s official. Triple H asked if they can do that. Michaels said of course they can, who is going to stop them…Mr. McMahon’s music then hit in the arena as he made his way to the stage with his son Shane. DX acted like they were scared. McMahon said last time he checked, the two of them were a bunch of juvenile delinquents. The last time he checked, those two don’t run things around here. McMahon said he is sick and tired of watching them make fools of them every week. McMahon said it’s not about what the fans want; it’s about what the McMahon’s want. As far as the challenge is concerned, he has two words for us…Shane O Mac. McMahon said tonight in that very ring, Shawn Michaels goes one on one with his son Shane. Shane looked apprehensive as the fans chanted for HBK. Shane yelled for the fans to shut up and said as far as Shawn’s impression of him a few weeks ago, his impression sucked. He said he is not a teenage on crack and has more talent than the two of them together. Shane said he’s going to up the stakes and said that Shawn can have Triple H in his corner, and Shane will have Vince in his corner. Shane said all these fans will not only remember the Alamo, they will also remember that Shane O Mac defeated their hometown boy, 1-2-3.

Tonight:
John Cena will take on the undefeated Umaga tonight, and we go to some highlights of Umaga’s path of destruction through the WWE. That’s coming up tonight folks.

Number One Contender Match
Carlito vs. Shelton Benjamin

Todd Grisham is in the ring and he’s ring announcer tonight, and I think he took a sip out Miz’s Kool Aid because he said this is a Number One Contender Match for the Cruiserweight Title. It’s actually a contender match for the Intercontinental Title between Carlito and Shelton Benjamin, both former champions in their own right.

Benjamin nailed some right hands and then choked away at Carlito before going back to the rear chin lock. The fans again got behind Carlito as he elbowed out and sent Benjamin to the ropes and hit a kick to the gut and then a knee lift.

The Finish:
Carlito nailed a knockdown and a springboard back elbow for a near fall. Carlito missed a boot and then Benjamin missed the dragon whip. Benjamin blocked a back cracker, and then Benjamin got a rollup and reached for the ropes but Carlito reversed into a rollup of his own and grabbed the ropes for the win!

Victoria tagged in and kicked Torrie in the gut and then slammed her head first into the mat. Victoria nailed a scoop slam and then stood on the mid section of Torrie. Torrie and Mickie brawled to the outside. Trish hit a modified Stratusfaction and then went for the Stratusphere in the corner on Victoria but Mickie broke it up. Candice nailed Mickie and Victoria went to nail Candice but she ducked and then Trish nailed the Stratusfaction on Victoria for the win.

Winners: Trish Stratus and Torrie Wilson

Backstage:
Umaga and Armando Alejandro Estrada are backstage with Maria. Armando said for everyone to listen to him. He said John Cena’s career has been in a downward spiral since he lost the WWE Title, and it’s going to continue later tonight. Maria asked if this was Umaga’s biggest match in his career. Armando said to ask him herself. Maria asked Umaga and he stared at her as Armando said that the wrecking ball comes down on Cena later tonight courtesy of the Samoan Bulldozer, Umaga! Umaga then yelled in his native tongue as we go to commercial.

WWE Studios:
Mick Foley is shown at WWE Studios and he knows what everyone is thinking, isn’t that the shirt he wore a few years ago on Halloween, and yes it is. Foley said he is here to talk about Ric Flair. DX told the Highlanders to go into McMahon’s office and make themselves at home, because McMahon loves initiative. DX said they need to talk loud because Vince has a problem with his hearing. He also likes male bonding, and told them to hug him and slap him on the butt. The Highlanders went on their way. Michaels asked which one was Robbie, and Triple H said the one with the kilt.

In the arena:
Matt Striker is in the ring with his blackboard, and said tonight’s lesson is about mathematics. The board says “Edge > Cena”. He asks the fans what it means, but then remembers they are in Texas, and they know nothing at all. Striker then introduces us to his guest tonight, the former WWE Champion, John Cena. Striker asked Cena if he knows that the mathematical equation meant. He said he would tell Cena what it means. He said it is mathematically proven that Edge is greater than Cena. Cena grabbed the mic and called Striker a stupid bastard. He said that’s not what this means. He thought he was meant to be some kind of teacher. Cena said this means that Cena crushed Edge through an announce table because his two bit skank Lita cost him the WWE Title. He said he was ready for blood, which means tonight…Cena took off his shirt and said he’s got to kick somebody’s ass. Striker backed out of the ring as Umaga’s music hit as he made his way down with Armando Alejandro Estrada.

The Highlanders slapped McMahon on the butt on the way out and McMahon wondered what the hell was going on as we go to commercial.

Randy Orton vs Eugene
Referee: Jack Doan

The music of Randy Orton hit in the arena as he made his way down to the ring, and at Saturday Night’s Main Event, Orton challenged Hulk Hogan to a match at SummerSlam, and later in the night hit the RKO on Hogan on the trunk of a car. Orton also made overtures towards Hogan’s daughter Brooke. Orton’s opponent tonight is Eugene, still green from last week.

The match:
The two locked up and Orton grabbed a side headlock and then a nice go behind takedown. They locked up again and then Orton hit some right hands and a club to the back as the fans chanted for Hogan. Eugene came back and then mocked Orton but turned around into a clothesline. Orton pulled Eugene back by the hair and kept punching him in the back of the head. Orton locked in a rear naked choke into his modified backbreaker. Orton then nailed the RKO for the three count and the win.

Winner: Randy Orton

The Aftermath:
Orton got on the mic and said don’t ever take advantage of the McMahon’s, Eugene, just like he would never take advantage of Hulk Hogan’s daughter Brooke. He said Brooke is one pretty girl, and he guarantees he will pick up a copy of her CD when it comes out in a few months. That song she sings, “About Us”, is one of his favourite hits, but this is his all time favourite hit…Orton said that he hopes what happened between him and her dad, he hopes it doesn’t have an effect on what happens between Orton and her. Footage was then shown of Saturday Night’s Main Event with Orton “respectfully” challenging Hulk Hogan to a match at SummerSlam and Hogan “respectfully” accepting. Later in the night, Orton was hitting on Brooke and Hogan came in and got Brooke in the car, and went round the back but Orton came out of nowhere with an RKO on the trunk. Brooke wondered what had happened to her father as Orton smirked. Orton posed in the ring back live as we go to commercial.

WWE Studios:
Mick Foley is in the WWE Studios again and said he wants to give a shout out to his friend Melina. He said that he wants to talk about Flair’s match with Big Show in ECW. He said Flair got hardcore. He said Flair used thumbtacks and a barbwire bat, but he did it all in vein. Foley said that Flair still gets no rematch. Foley said he came, he saw, and he kicked Flair’s old ass. He said if Flair really wants to be like Foley, don’t stop at thumbtacks, wear a flannel shirt, and sit in chair 36B next to the crapper. Foley sang “You’re Out Of My Life” and called Flair a washed up piece of crap.

In the arena:
Ric Flair made his way to the ring in a suit and he is still bandaged after his Extreme Rules Match with the Big Show last week for the ECW Championship. Flair grabbed a mic and said in case you don’t know it, and you possibly missed it…the Nature Boy got his ass kicked last Tuesday night. We go to footage of ECW on Sci-Fi with the brutal match between Flair and the Big Show. Flair was left pierced with thumbtacks. Flair said that would be an ass whipping and a half, but it isn’t his first and it wont be his last. Flair called Foley fat boy and said he wants Foley in a Hardcore Rules Match, anywhere. Flair took off his jacket and then the music of Johnny Nitro hit as he made his way down as the Intercontinental Champion, alongside Melina. Nitro got on the mic and said he may not know this, but they are good personal friends of Mick Foley, and he doesn’t think Flair gets it. Nitro said that Flair is out of his life and Flair means nothing to Mick Foley. Nitro said he can stand out here all night but he will not get an answer from Mick Foley, but you will get one from him. Melina then woo’ed in Flair’s face and Nitro nailed a cheap shot and hammered away at the Nature Boy. Nitro nailed a slam and then went for the break-dance leg drop but Flair moved. Flair nailed a chop block and then took Nitro down to the canvas. Flair went for the Figure Four but Nitro kicked him off and he crashed into Melina on the apron, sending her to the floor. They all had a group hug as the crowd committed suicide. Miz said that this Friday on Smackdown it’s going to be a Diva Dance Off. Man, I can hardly fucking wait. Hoo-Rah indeed.

Backstage:
The McMahon’s are in the back and Vince said tonight they can clean up DX, and after tonight, they will never again be made fools off. Vince has a sign stuck to his back saying “I Love Cocks” and Shane took it off. Shane then turned around and he had a sign as well, saying “Me Too”.

Shane hit a flying forearm and then nipped up. Shane nailed an atomic drop and then a pair of clotheslines. Shane nailed a body slam and then headed up top for the elbow drop, mocking Michaels regular series of moves. Shane flew off the top and scored with the elbow. Shane pranced around and started to tune up the band. Shane went for Sweet Chin Music but Michaels grabbed his foot. Michaels knocked Shane down and then followed up with a flying forearm and nipped up.

The Finish:
Michaels hit the atomic drop and then some right hands and a slam. Michaels then went up top and scored with the elbow. The band was then tuned once again as Michaels went for Sweet Chin Music. Vince grabbed the ankle of Michaels on the outside and Triple H came around the chase him off up the aisle. The Spirit Squad then come from under the ring and stomp away at Michaels.

Winner by disqualification: Shawn Michaels

The Aftermath:
Triple H comes back for the save but Shane gets a low blow on him. Triple H is thrown into the ring steps on the outside. The Spirit Squad went for High Spirits but Michaels landed on his feet and tried to fight the Squad off, but they were too much for him. The Spirit Squad this time nail the High Spirits. Shane grabbed a chair on the outside and nailed Triple H in the back with it. He then handed the Spirit Squad a chair and they set up two of them in the ring, side buy side. Triple H got back in the ring with the sledgehammer and nailed each member of the Squad. Michaels came back with a chair shot and DX have laid out the Spirit Squad again. The McMahon’s plan has backfired once again as DX stand tall as RAW goes off the air.
