Is Heath Ledger all smiles in the next BATMAN flick?

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here about to head out to Comic-Con. First I thought I'd throw this one out there as the internet will be exploding with it soon. The folks at LatinoReview have told the world a juicy rumor, from the same source that scooped Brandon Routh as Superman. Their source claims the offer went out to Heath Ledger last night. I think this casting is a bit bizarre. I like the direction they're going and I'm quite a fan of Ledger's work, but he's kind of moody... I guess if he injects the kind of life he put into his early teen comedy/KNIGHT'S TALE work to balance that out it could work.
Right now it's just a rumor. Even if it is true, there's always the possibility the deal will fall through or he will flat out reject it. I just hope Crispin Glover is choice #2.
