Simon Cowell will sign Olly Murs to his record label, it has been claimed.
According to The Sun, Murs's mentor was "blown away" by his duet with Robbie Williams on 'Angels' during last weekend's X Factor final.
A show source said: "Olly really impressed Simon because he is an all-round entertainer. Simon thinks he's just like Robbie Williams. Women love him."
It has been claimed that Murs will release a single next spring, with its performance dictating whether or not an album will be released.
Any full-length record would reportedly be delayed until the end of the year so as not to clash with winner Joe McElderry's debut LP that autumn.
Last year, Cowell opted only to sign X Factor winner Alexandra Burke to his Syco label after the show, though runners-up JLS were signed to Epic and third-placed Eoghan Quigg was signed to RCA, with all three companies operating under the Sony umbrella
