From comedians to politicians to musical performers to professional athletes, Monday Night Raw’s weekly guest hosts are some of past and present’s finest entertainers. The WWE Universe, therefore, can expect this trend to continue as more and more of the most popular celebrities are hopping aboard to serve as Raw special host.
Dec. 21, 2009: Johnny Damon
Accustomed to entertaining a large audience on the baseball diamond, Johnny Damon will now try to knock one out of the park from inside the squared circle when he becomes the first baseball player ever to host Monday Night Raw. A two-time World Series Champion and two-time MLB All-Star, Damon will batter up as guest host and bring Secret Santas along with him when he suits up in Tampa Bay, Fla.
Dec. 28, 2009: Timbaland
Grammy award-winning record producer, singer and rapper Timbaland will delegate responsibility to WWE Superstars when he acts as guest host on Dec. 28 from Hartford, Conn. Just in time for his latest in Shock Value 2, the renowned musician hops aboard Monday Night Raw.
Jan. 18, 2010: Jon Heder & Don Johnson
Stars from the soon-to-be-released film When in Rome, Jon Heder and Don Johnson, will take center stage on Raw on Jan. 18 from Knoxville, Tenn. Known mostly from his role as the discomfited and unintentionally humorous main character in Napoleon Dynamite, Heder enjoyed tremendous success this decade in a variety of comedies. Johnson, meanwhile, who became a popular television icon in the 1980s when starring in the hit series Miami Vice, continues to be an admired Hollywood actor. Their new film is set to be released in theaters on Jan. 29.
