Amy Winehouse has apparently received treatment for nervous exhaustion.
The 'Rehab' singer, who was recently arrested on suspicion of assault, reportedly collapsed and was treated by a doctor over the Christmas period.
A friend of Winehouse told The Mirror: "She's been told to keep a low profile and fully recuperate. She has been feeling very ill of late and had a funny turn at home. She is quite unwell and exhausted over recent events but is soldiering on."
The source also talked about her new album, saying: "Her new songs are amazing but will be on the backburner until she feels better."
Winehouse allegedly attacked a theatre manager at a performance of Cinderella on December 19 after he asked her to stop shouting obscenities during the show.
