A four-year-old girl and a man have been found dead inside a house, police said.
Officers were called to the address at Church Hill, Aldershot, Hampshire, by neighbours at 10.11am on Tuesday concerned about a domestic dispute, a police spokeswoman said.
Inside the house they found the body of a man along with a girl and a woman, who had both suffered head injuries.
Despite emergency first aid, the girl died at the scene. The woman was taken to hospital by the Surrey Air Ambulance.
A firearm was recovered from the property.
Police said they were not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
One resident in the street said a large number of police vehicles had arrived.
The man, who asked not to be named, said the street has been closed to traffic, but people can still walk through a police cordon.
Church Hill is a leafy street of about 20 large detached houses, a short distance from Aldershot Manor Park and the town's High Street.
The road includes a large business office complex, Manor Coach House, where small businesses rent premises.
