The much anticipated live Impact on January 4th will no be run by Hulk Hogan, as often rumored. The plan is for Hogan to be partnered with former WCW boss Eric Bischoff serving as Hogan's partner. Bischoff will have an authority role, and be used as a Hogan lackey. The current plan will see former New World Order members Scott Hall and Kevin Nash at Hogan's side during Monday's Impact. Hall and Nash are not scheduled to appear until later in the show to set up something up for the upcoming Genesis PPV.

Unless Hall has gotten himself together, he needs to stay away from TNA.

Current Pic Of Scott Hall

Doesn't look like he's missed many meals but I still say he's got great ring psychology and can get over with the fans in the short term.

Well, I don't believe Bischoff & Hogan have the same level of power as they had in WCW (Bischoff, for sure) and they ARE both creative entertainment/wrestling minds. TNA as currently constituted will continue to be veiwed as little more than a little brother to the big, bag WWE machine. Now, while I don't believe for a second that Hogan alone brings them up to WWE level, it does help. He's the single biggest name in wrestling history, the one true Icon of the sport. It may fail miserably. But it could also be huge. I'm really looking forward to seeing how it all plays out.
