Despite having a lack of blockbuster main events over the next few months, the highly anticipated bout between Quinton "Rampage" Jackson and Rashad Evans may not happen. According to UFC President Dana White, Evans has to beat Thiago Silva this Saturday at UFC 108 if he plans on fighting Rampage.

“He's [Evans] going to have to beat Thiago on Saturday to get that shot with Rampage,” White said at yesterday's UFC 108 pre-fight press conference.

Jackson was slated to face Evans at UFC 107 earlier this month, however had to pull out of the fight when he accepted the role of B.A. Baracus in the upcoming movie, The A-Team. Rampage went on to release a statement in September announcing that he was retiring in order to pursue his Hollywood ambitions.

Jackson went on to announce his return earlier this month, citing a bout with Evans as the reason for his coming back.
