Jeff Hardy has signed a contract with TNA Wrestling and the current booking plan is for him to form a tag team with Shannon Moore. Hardy and Moore met with Dixie Carter, Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff over the last few days and both agreed to a contract yesterday.
The interesting part of Hardy's deal is what is being reported by the Bleacher Report. They are reporting that Matt Hardy said on the Hardy Show that Jeff failed a drug test with WWE about two weeks before he faced CM Punk at Summerslam which was his third and final strike.
According to their report, WWE didn't fire Hardy because he was leaving any way. The WWE Wellness Policy states after three strikes you are automatically terminated and cannot be re-hired for one year.
