Breaking WWE Releases a Superstar on Friday, More Releases Yet To Be Confirmed

- WWE released former ECW roster member Steve “DJ Gabriel” Lewington Friday afternoon. He had been under contract to WWE since April of 2006.

Lewington was split from Alicia Fox last April in the Supplemental Draft and after WWE creative had nothing else for him, he was sent to Florida to train at developmental.

There are rumors of more WWE developmental releases yesterday but those are not confirmed.
