- It looks like Booker T's long journey to the WWE title will be complete as he is scheduled to defeat Rey Mysterio tomorrow at The Great American Bash. WWE will then go with a Booker T vs. Batista title match for SummerSlam. Also, Chavo Guerrero will probably cost Mysterio the title. As -of several days ago, that was planned, but not for this show, but that can all change.
- Batista's match with Mr. Kennedy will probably be short and one-sided.
- Title changes aren't expected in the tag team title match (London & Kendrick vs. Kash & Noble) or the US Title match (Finlay vs. Regal).
- Gregory Helms title defense is expected to be against Super Crazy.
