KYLIE Minogue's British comeback concerts have sold out within an hour, forcing organisers to lay on four extra gigs to satisfy the Australian pop singer's fans, they said.
The January 2 and 3 gigs at the 11,000-capacity Wembley Arena in London are Minogue's first in Britain since she was diagnosed with breast cancer.
Phone lines jammed when tickets went on sale at 9am.
The shows proved so popular the promoters added extra dates on January 5 and 6 and Wembley's computer system crashed under the strain of fans ordering tickets.
Two further shows were then added on January 8 and 9 and tickets were soon snapped up.
"The demand for Kylie is absolutely phenomenal and these are the fastest selling shows I have ever experienced," said her agent Dave Chumbley.
Minogue, 38, was diagnosed with early stage breast cancer while preparing for the Australian leg of her Showgirl tour in May last year.
