We have received word that former WWE Tag Team Champion and former WCW Champion Ron Simmons is retiring. Simmons will be competing in what will be his "retirement match" tonight at the Historic Purks International Championship Wrestling show in Cedartown, Georgia. After the show, Simmons will also take part in a Q&A session with the first 100 fans who request admission to it.
Simmons is also set to be inducted into the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame on February 20th.
