ROH Cancels HDNet Taping in Philly

ROHwrestling.com is reporting that due to the snowstorm in Philadelphia, tonight's HDNet TV taping has been canceled. ROH is offering full refunds or ticket exchanges for those who purchased tickets for tonight's taping.

Ring of Honor will not reschedule tonight's canceled TV Taping. ROH works with HDNet to schedule on days when the network's production truck is available.

One of the reasons the company made the decision to cancel is that a local transformer went out due to the weather and without it, ROH had no guarantee there would be enough power to run the taping at the ECW Arena. When ECW ran their lone PPV at the ECW Arena, the entire building lost power literally one minute after Barely Legal went off the air, so it's a realistic concern.

That, as well as the over 17 inches of snow that were already on the ground in Philadelphia this morning.

ROH's next live event will be the 2/13 Eighth Anniversary event.
