Spike TV played a big part in TNA bringing Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff in. Spike reportedly earmarked money and helped out with the contracts as they have done in the past with other major TNA signings such as Mick Foley and Sting. Kevin Kay and Brian Diamond of Spike are long-term looking to use Hulk Hogan to challenge RAW on Monday nights.

Yeah but Hulk's role is limited to backstage and as a character on-screen. Hulk's draw as a wrestler was huge, I don't know if he can get the same draw as a GM no matter what decisions he makes. And for that matter, if TNA is trying to become better by pulling in guys like Hogan and Sting and Foley, just how long can they last? Can the company flourish from bringing in old WWE and WCW stars?
