LAS VEGAS – UFC president Dana White confirmed that a previously reported bout between "The Ultimate Fighter 10" cast members Kevin "Kimbo Slice" Ferguson (4-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC) and Matt Mitrione (1-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) will take place in May at UFC 113.

MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) passed along news of the bout last month.

White today confirmed with MMAjunkie.com the fight is expected to be part of UFC 113, which takes place May 8 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Slice – a ratings booster who's previously fought on CBS, Spike TV and Showtime under the EliteXC and UFC banners – makes his pay-per-view debut on the upcoming card.

Slice, who was eliminated from the "TUF 10" 16-man tournament by eventual show winner Roy Nelson in an opening-round contest, made his official UFC debut at the show's live finale. There, he earned a close – if unspectacular – decision victory over Houston Alexander in a catchweight contest to secure his future in the organization.

Mitrione, one of four former NFL players to appear on "TUF 10," advanced to the show's quarterfinals by defeating ex-UFC fighter Scott Junk, but he was then submitted by James McSweeney. Mitrione returned at the show's live finale and dispatched of a favored Marcus Jones via knockout just 10 seconds into the second round.
