Nicole Richie has reportedly confirmed that she is planning to marry longtime boyfriend Joel Madden.
The former Simple Life star, who has been dating Madden for more than three years, is thought to have announced their engagement during an appearance on The Late Show With David Letterman.
According to E! Online, representatives for the couple have yet to confirm the news.
Richie and Madden are parents to daughter Harlow, 2, and 5-month-old son Sparrow. Her episode of The Late Show is scheduled to air on Friday.
Speculation that the pair had tied the knot was sparked last year after Radar Online suggested that they had obtained a wedding license and married in September.
