It is being reported by Kevin Iole of Yahoo Sports! that Quinton "Rampage" Jackson has officially signed on to fight Rashad Evans at UFC 114 in May.

Having the contracts finalized puts an end to Jackson's 14-month octagon drought and uncertain conclusion to his feud with opposing Ultimate Fighter coach Evans, which has been locked in limbo due to Jackson's decision to reprise Mr. T's role as B.A. Baracus in the new A-Team remake.

The ramifications of such a move have been many; the highly anticipated fight between the two, originally scheduled in Jackson's hometown of Memphis, was meant to save a lackluster season of the reality show and put an end to the ongoing televised rivalry between the coaches, but instead was scrapped entirely.

The sudden cancellation sparked a media war of words between the Memphis native and UFC president Dana White that has left obvious scars in their personal and business relationship—leaving the fighter's UFC future uncertain even after signing on to fight Evans in May.

At the moment, the former light-heavyweight champion and fellow Wolfslair training partner, is corning British middleweight, Michael Bisping, who is set to go into battle against another Jackson rival, Wanderlei Silva, at UFC 110 in Sydney, Australia.

Rampage supposedly met up with Dana White and Lorenzo Fertitta in Australia to temporarily bury the hatchet with the UFC brass in order to help his teammate.

UFC 110 marks the first time Rampage has set foot in the octagon since his unanimous decision against Keith Jardine at UFC 96.
