It is being reported by The Wrestling Observer that the reason why former WWE Champion Sheamus missed this past week's edition of Monday Night RAW is because he suffered a concussion during the WWE Championship match at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view event this past Sunday. WWE's original plan was to have Sheamus face John Cena on RAW, with the winner facing Batista for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 26. With Sheamus unable to compete, he was replaced in the match by Batista.
