The following was posted on LannyPoffo.com:

"It is with heavy heart we announce the loss of wrestling legend Angelo Poffo who passed away peacefully in his sleep this morning age 84."

Poffo was living at his home in Florida, where Randy and Lanny checked on him regularly. He recently began having trouble breathing.

Damn, that sucks. He was a great wrestler, promoter and father to two great wrestlers. Thanks for posting.

Damn! I didn't know about this. Too bad. He lived a hellava life. Anglo was a true wrestling legend.
