The next three weeks will be extremely eventful for Germany 's Westside Xtreme Wrestling. From March 5th-7th there will be the annual 16 Carat Gold Tournament in Oberhausen , Germany . The 17 participants fighting for the trophy will be: Chris Hero, Claudio Castagnoli, Ares, Erick Stevens, Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson, Kagetora, Munenori Sawa, Daisuke Sekimoto, Yuji Okabayashi, Johnny Kidd, Martin Stone, Paul Tracey, Big van Walter, Adam Polak, Bad Bones and Tommy End. Also scheduled to defend their wXw World Tag Team Titles is the Switchblade Conspiracy against Up in Smoke (Cheech & Cloudy).

(Which has been posted in the Indy Results section)

Just one week later wXw will debut in the US to kick off the day of Wrestling in the Arena in Philadelphia before CZW will host „Walking on Pins and Needles“. wXw „Vision“ will bring six of the best wrestlers from Europe to Philadelphia to showcase what Westside Xtreme Wrestling is all about. Already much talked about is the third match in their famous fed for Drake Younger and Thumbtack Jack. „The Pain in the Glass Match“ will follow their SAW Deathmatch and the No Ropes Barbed Wire Match that took place in Germany – who can win the tiebreaking match in this rivalary?

Chris Hero debuted for wXw in 2002, since then he helped wXw grow and won the World Heavyweight Title as well as the 16 Carat Gold Tournament in 2007. Hero is proud to be a part of this special show and will face an old nemesis in B-Boy who just recently lost the CZW World Championship to Jon Moxley. Moxley is set to team with Sami Callihan against the American Wovles in a first time ever match up. If the Switchblade Conspiracy will still be wXw World Tag Team Champions after 16 Cart Gold they titles will be on the line. Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards will be exclusive on this show on this day. So make sure to catch this exciting tag team at wXw „Vision. Also only wrestling on the afternoon event will be former wXw World Champion Alex Shelley.

Just signed for this show is a match between the two cornerstones of wXw. Steve Douglas will wrestle Bad Bones. For some fans in the US these will likely be two unfamiliar names but not only in wXw but in whole Europe these two are competing in Main Events and holding Championships. It was Douglas who bought „The German Psycho“ Bad Bones into wXw in 2005 but their alliance broke just half a year later. In the last four years these two wrestled all over Europe and had some brutal matches. After a 10 month run for a titleshot Bad Bones achieved his big dream in January 2009 to win the wXw World Heavyweight Title. And he beat no beat noone else then Steve Douglas. But this in 2010 and Douglas is the Champion again. He is set to defend the title against Absolute Andy at 16 Carat Gold but if Douglas can retain the title will be on the line in Philadelphia . Can history repeat himself? You will find out March 13th but you already know you are gonna get a rare singles match between the two best wrestlers Germany had in the last 15 years!

wXw orginally only wanted to have wrestlers on their show with an extended history in the promotion but going to the US and promote a show they can not deny they talent in recent breakout star TJP! TJP style fit in perfectly with wXw so the outstanding technical wrestler will get a chance to make an impression at wXw when he will make his debut not only in wXw but also the Arena. The last european wrestler for the Vision roster is the big 6'4 austrian powerhouse Big van Walter. Walter was trained by Tatsuhito Takaiwa and Riki Choshu in the Zero One Dojo and is one of the hardest hitting wrestlers everywhere. In 2008 he teamed with Bad Bones against Kenta Kobashi and Go Shiozaki but lost to Kobashi. But Walter is a changed wrestler. He is part of the viscous Catch Hoolz Faction with the british Kartel and hasn't lost a match in 11 months.

I translated a german article to english.

16 Carat Gold 2010 is over - History was made, but in five days to go from here if Westside Xtreme Wrestling history again writes: "The Vision" in Philadelphia!

Already hotly debated and formally confirmed by the World Heavyweight Championship match between challenger Steve Douglas and the Bad Bones! Two days ago, Douglas has his title still in a hard match to defend against Absolute Andy, but he also manages his turn Dauerrivalen Bad Bones? Bones failed in the first round in a true classic with Chris Hero and made it not as hoped, with Carnage secure the tag team titles. Bones at the time, however, speaks from the pure motivation. However, the ranges for the wXw World Heavyweight Title for the second time to win?

Steve Douglas has also defended Alongside Zack Saber Jr. wXw his World Lightweight Title. Yesterday he defeated in a terribly hard fight Munenori Sawa. Zacks opponents in Philadelphia but will be no less talented, because he meets the debuting TJP. TJ still went up to a week ago for Antonio Inoki in Japan against the legendary Ultimo Dragon, but with this match he will finally make a step towards Europe. For all fans of technical wrestling this match is an absolute treat!

Just a week after his victory in the 16 Carat Gold 2010 has Big Walter van jump another tough task ahead. Eddie Kingston finally returns to wXw and never was someone who is quickly defeated. For the Austrians should at least continue the path of destruction. Without doubt, this meet two of the hardest Striker of the modern wrestling scene, but it's the street fight from Yonkers or the catch from Vienna who is keen to get the victory?

In the final seventh match of the show to take two consecutive fastest and technically skilled wrestler Alex Shelley has to do with Tommy End. Tommy returns this year beeidnruckendes match in succession, but the great victory in the still lacking. It returns with his victory over Shelley returned to Germany would be impressive, however the affect his standing.

Referees of the show will be Tassilo Jung and Rainer wrestler. Ring announcer Christan Jakobi. To live this will take care of Bryce Remsburg with alternating partners. The DVD will soon acquire it through wXw too!

Westside Xtreme Wrestling debuted at the ECW Arena for "wXw: The Vision" before a good afternoon crowd of about 400, despite torrential rain in the Philadelphia area Saturday afternoon. A number of German fans flew in for the day's events.

B-Boy, while making it to the Arena, didn't work either of the day's shows due to a 103 degree fever, and was told to go home.

# In one of the top matches of the day, period, Zack Sabre Jr. successfully defended his wXw World Lightweight Championship Champion against TJP (TJ Perkins). Sabre submitted TJP with a cross-arm breaker. These two showed the often impatient ECW Arena crowd what good, fast, crisp mat work can be, coupled with stiff kicks and great submissions.

# Big Van Walter defeated Eddie Kingston via Powerbomb. Kingston got a big pop from the crowd that almost looked like it embarrassed him. Match seemed designed to largely put over Big Van Walter, who won wXw's 16 Carat Gold Tournament in Germany last week.

# CZW's Hardcore Nick Gage defeated Karsten Beck in a short match with a chokebreaker.

# Switchblade Conspiracy (Champions) successfully defended their wXw World Tag Team Championship over the Armerican Wolves of Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards via an Inside Cradle by Moxley pinning Edwards. This match was everything you'd expect it to be with these four

# In the post-intermission match, Claudio Castagnoli defeated Tommy End via an uppercut

# Steve Douglas successfully defended his wXw World Heavyweight Championship, defeating Bad Bones via a rope-assisted Half Nelson Suplex. To put it charitably, the match sucked. It didn't help when the crowd wasn't sure who the heel and face were (I THINK Bad Bones was supposed to be the babyface here, as Steve Douglas came out with a German flag, then brought out an American flag.and made a motion as if he were going to set the flag on fire). Bad Bones and Steve Douglas blew a couple spots mid-match, started trying too hard to get the match back on track, and no one had the good sense to take the match home early. The crowd dissatisfaction really blew up after a badly messed up out of ring table spot. Post-match, both Bad Bones and Steve Douglas got loud "Don't come back" and "You both suck" chants. Bad Bones got extremely pissed by the crowd reaction, got in one fan's face, and started a shoot promo that got cut off when his microphone was turned off with Maven Bentley and others taking him to the back.

# Alex Shelley submitted Chris Hero via arm-captured Inside Cradle

# In the main event Pain in the Glass Deathmatch (featuring three panes of glass, thumb tack strips and various other toys, Drake Younger defeated Thumbtack Jack via a Death Valley Driver

DJ Hyde announced that in November CZW will travel to Germany for Gorefest 3 with a CZW vs. wXw theme of: TOD vs. Gorefest.
