Mascarita Dorada told Super Luchas that he has been negotiating with EMLL over the last couple of weeks about a return and did work their show at Arena Mexico as a sign of good faith but he is still an independent right now until he comes to an agreement. Dorada wants more control of his outside bookings and wants the minis to have a bigger role in the promotion.
Cmllmiddle_negroNew Japan announced yesterday that Negro Casas would be defending his CMLL Middleweight Title against Jushin Thunder Liger on 5/3 in Fukuoka. They also announced that Mascara Dorada & Valiente would be coming in to take part of the Super J Tag Tournament in Tokyo where they would meet Apollo 55 (Prince Devitt & Ryusuke Taguchi) in the 1st round.
New Japan also announced that Hiroshi Tanahashi would be coming to EMLL in May to work a couple of weeks and with their help, all of the big Arena Mexico shows (Dos Leyendas, Infierno del Ring, Anniversario, & Sin Salida) would be airing on Samurai TV this year.
