John Cena cut a promo at yesterday's Raw brand house show in Vienna, Austria after his main event match against Sheamus. Cena said he was given the chance to stay at home rather than go on the European tour because he was injured in his Wrestlemania match against Batista. He said he wouldn't let the fans overseas down like that.
I cannot confirm how serious Cena's injuries are but he has been working through back pain for several months, however, an MRI did not reveal any structural damage. Cena was originally slated to take time off following Wrestlemania but he told WWE officials before the PPV he was OK to continue working.
