IGN is reporting that WWE SmackDown vs. RAW 2007 has been dropped for the Playstation 3 and will only see a release on the Xbox 360, Playstation 2, and Sony Playstation Portable. The reason? It's taking too long.

It's definitely not a good sign if a console loses a game because of development time, but that's the way things go sometimes. Cutting out the Playstation 3 version of the game will give the team more time to focus on the other platforms to make wrestling fans enjoy the upcoming game even more. WWE SmackDown vs. RAW 2007 is slated for a holiday 2006 release.

They can go Next Gen on their video games too bad they can't manage to do the same with their in ring product.
