I Love Yoy Phillip Morris's US distributor has given the Jim Carrey-led black comedy a summer release date.
According to Variety, Consolidated Pictures Group will push the film out on July 30 on a limited run and expand its release across North America on August 6.
The news comes just days after CPG claimed that the much-delayed film had been shelved indefinitely.
Phillip Morris's controversial subject matter has prompted the Stateside distributor to postpone the release on several occasions. The movie has already played in several international territories and opened in the UK last month.
The movie stars Jim Carrey as a gay con artist who falls in love with his prison cellmate, played by Ewan McGregor.
