Army Wives star Sally Pressman has admitted that she was "starstruck" when Ann-Margret filmed scenes for the Lifetime show.
The actress, who plays Roxy LeBlanc in the military drama, told Digital Spy that she had been a big fan of Bye Bye Birdie as a child.
"She is absolutely amazing. So professional and lovely to work with. She's funny, gorgeous, sweet, generous, prepared, humble. I mean, such a role model," she said.
"She set such an example for me of someone who's been in the business a long time and done so many amazing things in her career and is still kind and respectful to everyone around her."
Pressman added that Ann-Margret will "drop in for a surprise visit" in the show's Mother's Day episode, starring as Michael Holden's aunt.
Army Wives continues this Sunday at 10pm ET/PT on Lifetime.
