Fan Review
Chris Castle of FTW-fame made his return to Deep South serving as the announcer of the show. He did a great job and it was a welcome return.

David Day def. Viper in a double hell barbed wire insanity match (or something like that). No ropes with barbed wire on two sides and a barbed wire table and tube table on the open sides. Also, a huge barbed wire spider net with a table of tubes above it set up outside the ring. Good match. Viper and Day worked well together. Finish came after Viper and Day fight atop the Armory Hummer that was parked inside. Day reverses an attempted powerbomb with a headscissors that sends Viper off the Hummer onto the spider net.

Freakshow def. TJ Phillips in a carpet strips and thumbtack match. Nasty match. Show cut the shit out of Phillips with some huge knife he had in his tights. Phillips bled like a motherfucker. Really gross. Show took a hurricanrana from the top rope through a table on the outside.

Kody Krueger def. Jason Vayne in a boards of death match. There was a barbed wire board, tube board, razor blade board, and pencil board. This was the surprise match of the night. Krueger wrestles barefoot, which did not look fun for him. Vayne took a disgusting fall on the pencil board. Krueger was definitely walked on the razor blade board multiple times. He also just kept taking nasty bumps on the concrete.

Insane Lane def. Kornerstone in a fans bring the weapons match. Fork on a rope was used many times. Stiff VCR shots. Bass neck wrapped in barbed wire used. Thumbtack tubes. Badminton racquet with barbed wire.

Bildo, Damien, and Ryan Reed (who was pretty awesome, looks like a smaller Kelly Pavlik) went to a no-contest in a leftover shit deathmatch. This was an awesome shit show. Damien was VERY GREEN and got his ass beat. Took a legit nut shot with an aluminum bat. The match was an enjoyable trainwreck.

Shaun Tempers w/ the Reverend def. Jay Clinton and White Tiger. Clinton's a fat ass, but pulled out a sweet moonsault at one point. Shades of Bill DeMott.

Chrisjen Hayme retained the IWA DS title against Jesse Emerson. Really great match as these guys work each other alot. They killed each other with strikes.

Insane Lane is your 2010 Carnage Cup Champion as he defeated David Day, Kody Krueger, and Freakshow in a 200 lighttube cage match. TONS OF TUBES. Day got mutilated with a cheese grater and pizza cutter. Day did a senton off the top of the cage. Four way bar-room brawl with lighttubes. Day just got killed in the match and looked in bad shape afterwards. Back was cut to hell. Finish came as Show is crawling out of the door of the cage and Lane is climbing over the cage. Show was going to beat him to the outside, but Chrisjen Hayme runs out and slams the cage door on Show's head and spits on him. Hayme flicks off the crowd and leaves. Lane makes it over the top and hits the floor to take the Cup. If you like tubes and lots of blood, you would like this match.

Lane says the win was a long time coming. He's having a kid and is hanging up the boots for now. Put over the wrestlers, fans, and Kevin. Nice speech.

Overall, my favorite CC since 2006. I went in with low expectations, so maybe that's why I enjoyed it so much, but, either way, I would say deathmatch fans can find alot of stuff to enjoy.

Notes: Tracy Smothers was unable to get off from his shoot job. Rich went AWOL this past week and was not there.

First IWA DS champion Cabana Man Dan was in the audience and stated he might make his return soon. Also, gave Chris Castle a flip flop chop for old times sake. Smart Mark crew was in the house and were there catching all the action. Big thanks to the pros for making the trip down to film.

Smooth Plezing, Chris Castle, the Reverend, Shaun Tempers, and Kevin Brannen were all doing commentary throughout the night.
