1. BJ Penn : despite loss its still only his first loss in 8 years at lightweight
2. Shinya Aoki : has a bad attitude problem but backs it up in the cage
3. Kenny Florian : just beat a mma legend and has only lost to bj lately
4. Gilbert Melendez: only 2 career losses and has avenged therm both but big test coming up
5. Gray Maynard: Some say he should have got shot against bj not frankie
6. Frankie Edgar: although he's champ i dont see him as a top 5 fighter
7. Diego Sanchez: here more cuz of his rep then anything
8. Eddie Alvarez: Not a big fan havent seen many fights
9. Benson Henderson: exciting fighter to watch
10: Tatsuya Kawajiri: doing some big things over at dream
Welterweight
1. GSP: no explanation necessary
2. Thiago Alves: dominating performances against everyone but gsp puts him here but that could change after fitch fight
3. John Fitch: same as Alves
4. Dan Hardy: took everything gsp had and still kept coming back for more
5. Nick Diaz: top welterweight outside of UFC
6. Josh Koscheck: hate the fighter but is record is hard to ignore
7. Paulo Thiago: beat kos by a controversial referee stoppage but doesnt deserve to be ranked higher
8. Mike Swick: decent fighter thats struggling a bit
9. Martin Kampmann: the most underrated fighter in the division
10. Paul Daley: good fighter but lazy
Middleweight
1. Anderson Silva: unfortunatly till someone beats him he has to be #1
2. Dan Henderson: him and shields should be a decent fight
3. Chael Sonnen: hopefully he backs up his mouth and beats silva
4. Vitor Belfort: i thought he would beat silva but he got hurt
5. Nate Marquardt: deserves a shot at silva
6. Jake Shields: best middleweight not in ufc
7. Yushin Okami: dcent fights lately very underrated
8. Wanderlei Silva: good fighter but getting old
9. Damien Maia: lost to silva but who hasnt
10. Patrick Cote: excited for his return
Light-Heavyweight
1. Lyoto Machida: reigning champion.... for now
2. Maricuo Rua: number one contender and some say should be champion
3. Gegard Mousasi: best light heavyweight outside of UFC
4. Rashad Evans: looking forward to rampage fight... hopefully rashad gets ko`d
5. Quinton Jackson: took his ball and went home but now he`s back
6. Forrest Griffin: good fight against tito looking forward to more fights
7. Thiago Silva: lost to rashad but he will be back
8. Jon Jones: very exciting fighter the future at 205
9. Randy Couture: here more cuz of his rep then anything
10. Antonio Rogerio Nogueira: looking forward to seeing him and griffin fight
Heavyweight
1. Fedor Emelianenko: Top fighter though im not a big fan
2. Brock Lesner: him and carwin will be a great fight
3. Shane Carwin: number one contender for the title
4. Cain Velasquez: Deserves shot at winner
5. Frank Mir: he lost but is still better then other fighters on this list
6. Junior Dos Santos: great record in UF would like to see him fight someone in the top 5
7. Alistar Overeem: a champion that doesnt defend the title... strikeforce is stupid
8. Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira: MMA legend hopefully he bounces back from his loss
9. Brett Rogers: hopefully he caves in overeems face
10. Roy Nelson: a fub fighter to watch

[Punisher]

The main thing I disagree with is that Frankie Edgar is not a top 5 fighter. He beat BJ and lets face it NO ONE thought that BJ could be beat at 155

Nick Diaz is number 2 in my books. he'll take GSP's belt away. if/when he does then he'll be number 1

if/when sassy moussai gets to UFC he WILL be number 1. (hes not with M-1 Global no more if you didnt know) he'll knock em all out like he will to KING MO on saturday (even though i like MO)

figured i would update the rankings slightly aoki drops to 4th florian moves to 2nd and melendez is now #3 IMO
and i think gegard drops to 6th with everyone else moving up a spot at light heavy
jake shields goes up to 2nd and hendo drops to 6th so they basically switch places
but again just my opinion lol
