George Lopez has confirmed that he is happy to move his show to make way for Conan O'Brien.
O'Brien recently signed a deal with TBS to host a programme in the 11pm timeslot.
The news means that Lopez's talkshow Lopez Tonight will be pushed back to midnight.
However, Lopez insisted that there are no parallels with O'Brien's decision to leave NBC, which came about when the network announced that Jay Leno would take over his timeslot.
Appearing on Larry King Live, Lopez joked: "I am not getting Leno-ed. I welcome Conan."
He added: "I'll go to work an hour later. Come on, it's a dream come true. And the pay is the same."
Lopez also revealed that O'Brien had only agreed to join the network after making sure that he was happy with the arrangement.
"What he was concerned with... he wasn't going to do to me what was done to him at NBC," Lopez explained. "That was not the case."
