A convention in St. Louis this weekend, featuring Roddy Piper, Terry Funk, Tommy Rich, Road Warrior Animal, Ted DiBiase, Dory Funk Jr. and many others, drew 114 fans total. Mike Palermo, the promoter of the convention, said he was starting a new promotion. He said he would begin as a territory in Texas, and would work his way up to a national promotion and knock off Vince McMahon. Good luck! He also blamed Vince for sabotaging the weekend

If he can get folks like Piper and Co. to show up Dallas, I'd go in a second.

Setting his goal a little high but I'd guess it's said to grab headlines and draw attention to his upcoming new promotion, which it has done.

Good luck to the guy, if he gets things right it'll hopefully mean another outlet for us wrestling fans to watch what we enjoy :)

Mike Palermo is delusional. He's living in a dream world if he thinks a few old, broken down workers are going to bump off Vince. It will NEVER happen. All Vince has to do is make a few calls, dish out some money to the workers and they will no show.

Nobody can knock off Vince, but Vince.

It's pretty obvious this is only a way of promotiong his new promotion. He could only knock Vince off in his dreams.
