UFC Welterweight, Thiago Alves has been cleared by doctors to continue his career in the UFC after being told by doctors yesterday.
According to a report by TMZ.com, Alves underwent an angiogram yesterday which took several hours, but the results came back all clear. The doctor is now in the process of informing the New Jersey boxing Commission of the results so they can life the suspension on the Brazilian.
Alves is scheduled to take on fellow Welterweight, Jon Fitch at UFC 117. The fight was supposed to go down back at UFC 111 until Alves had this brain scare, and was not cleared by the New Jersey athletic commission to fight.
