The stars of True Blood have revealed that they are excited about the introduction of werewolves in the third season.
Stephen Moyer, who plays Bill on the show, told USA Today that he loved working with real wolves on set.
"They're extraordinary creatures," he said. "They never stop moving. They're enormous and powerful. That's been the highlight so far - of the things I'm allowed to talk about."
Meanwhile, Alexander Skarsgard hinted that his character Eric will be unhappy about the arrival of the werewolves.
"Eric hates them," he said. "In his opinion, wolves are very primitive, stupid, disgusting, not sophisticated. After a while, you'll find out there's a deeper reason he hates them."
Deborah Ann Woll, who plays Jessica, added that she believes the arrival of new creatures and characters has made the show more complex.
"It's bigger, or at least it feels that way," she said. "Half the faces around the table reads are new people. I don't know what [their storylines] look like, what their sets look like, or what their costumes look like. It feels like five different TV shows are going on at the same time."
