The 29-year-old singer, who has been dating rapper and producer Swizz Beatz since 2008, is reportedly "very happy" with the good news.
A representative for the couple told People that they are "expecting a baby and are engaged to be married in a private ceremony later this year".
Swizz Beats already has a 3-year-old son, Kasseem Jr, and a 9-year-old son, Prince Nasir, from previous relationships.
