Matt Striker, on Friday's Smackdown broadcast, claimed that Oklahoma had 10 Heisman Trophy winners, including a two-time winner in Billy Sims. Those two statements are false. Oklahoma has had 5 Heisman winners, the most recent being Sam Bradford in 2008. Billy Sims only won the award once (1978), the only player to win the award twice is Archie Griffin (Ohio State 1974 & 75). No school has ever had 10 winners, the closest are USC, Ohio State and Notre Dame, all with 7. How the hell do you make that stuff up and be off by so much? If Striker is going to use football references to put over someone, maybe he should do his homework or call JR at least.
