Kanye West has performed four songs for schoolchildren in Chicago.
The set was the rapper's first live performance since his self-imposed exile after interrupting Taylor Swift's acceptance speech at last year's MTV VMA awards, The Guardian reports.
West played 'Run This Town', 'Good Life', 'Touch the Sky' and new single 'Power' in the performance at Farragut Career Academy during his third annual Stay in School concert on his 33rd birthday.
Cameras were reportedly banned from the live show. West makes his TV return at the tenth annual BET Awards being held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on June 27.
West releases new album Good Ass Job this autumn.
