It's official, folks: Dreamcast games are coming to Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network. The festivities are scheduled to begin sometime this fall around the 11-year anniversary of the Dreamcast's U.S. launch.
First up for rerelease are the original Sonic Adventure and Crazy Taxi. No official announcements have been made regarding further Dreamcast titles, but earlier leaks pointed to Jet Grind Radio and Shenmue II also getting the XBLA/PSN treatment.
These aren't just simple ports, either. Sega's upped the resolution across the board, along with adding online leaderboards, Achievements/Trophies, and support for surround sound.
No word on pricing as of yet, but we'll get you the details as soon as they're available. That's one rumor to scratch off the old E3 checklist.
