www.deadlinehollywood.com reported today that Jason Hervey and Eric Bischoff's reality production company Bischoff Hervey Entertainment TV signed an international distribution deal with Shine International, which will handle distribution for BHE TV entities. Shine has already distributed the Hulk Hogan's Celebrity Championship Wrestling to 20 territories, according to the Deadline report. I actually loved the hell out of that show and was really bummed CMT didn't bring it back for a second run.
The article noted that BHE have shows in development and production at VH1, TruTV, A&E, Fuse and Spike TV.
The Micro Championship Wrestling pilot they filmed a few months back in Florida was a pilot for TruTV, but we haven't heard whether it was picked up or not. I am thinking the decent success of SpikeTV's Half-Pint Brawlers might help them, but we'll see.
Of course, Bischoff and Hervey are also heavily involved in the production of TNA, although there's no word on whether Impact or another TNA project could fall under the umbrella of this deal.
