We Will Rock You, the hit musical based on the songs of Queen, has been a hit since its inception in 2002. Recently, Swedish site DN.se caught up with Brian May, Queen guitarist and co-creator of We Will Rock You, to talk about the musical. Perhaps of greater relevance to you is May's comment regarding a potential Guitar Hero Queengame.
"We have invented a way to let the players participate in our concerts," May alluded. "I can't say anything more about it just yet. It's a secret." It's hardly a statement a game is coming and the DN.se report somehow surmises that the Queen version of Guitar Herois expected to launch next year -- as of now, this is a rumor at best. Still, we contacted an Activision rep anyway, who said the company "doesn't comment on rumors or speculation."
